The International College of Innovation (ICI) at National Chengchi University (NCCU) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the College of Interdisciplinary Studies at Thammasat University, aiming to expand bilateral connections and academic exchanges. With this MOU now in effect, NCCU’s ICI and Thammasat University’s College of Interdisciplinary Studies will have opportunities to develop further collaborations and map out future cooperative endeavors.
Founded in 1933, Thammasat University is one of Thailand’s oldest and most prestigious universities. The university currently has 21 departments, 6 faculties, and 7 research centers, evolving from an open university focused on law and political science into a renowned comprehensive university. In recent years, Thammasat University has actively pursued international cooperation, enriching its academic resources across various fields including humanities and social sciences, engineering and technology, public health, business management, and medical sciences, thus providing abundant learning resources.
The signing of this MOU lays a solid foundation for bilateral cooperation. Through initiatives such as faculty exchanges, student exchanges and the sharing of academic resources, the academic vitality and student camaraderie between ICI and the College of Interdisciplinary Studies will be further enhanced. ICI has a significant number of Thai international students and maintains close ties with various higher education institutions in Thailand. It is hoped that this MOU will strengthen the foundation for cooperation between the two colleges, fostering more collaborative efforts between NCCU and Thammasat University.
