The 2025 “One Day with ICI” event, organized by the International College of Innovation Student Association (ICISA), took place on March 9 at NCCU. The event welcomed high school students from across Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, and Tainan, as well as university students from institutions such as NCKU, allowing them to experience ICI’s unique academic and social environment.
Designed to introduce prospective students to ICI, the event featured a series of interactive activities. The day began with an ICI-themed icebreaker game, “Soup, Salad, or Sandwich,” which simulated the English discussion-based learning approach used in ICI courses. This was followed by a guest lecture by Professor Michelle Kuo, who led a court reenactment on asylum and immigrant rights, providing participants with insights into the Global Governance & Sustainability and Society academic tracks.
Current ICI students also took the stage to introduce the college’s curriculum, its three academic tracks, and the application process. Senior students shared valuable insights into exchange programs, double majors, and student life at NCCU, answering attendees’ questions.
The event concluded with a group sharing session and a closing party, where participants engaged in meaningful conversations with ICI students. “One Day with ICI” successfully offered high school students a glimpse into ICI’s interdisciplinary learning environment.
