2024 Innovation International College Camp Concludes Successfully
The ICI Camping event, organized by the Innovation International College Student Association (ICISA), successfully concluded from September 27 to 29 at the Leisure Station Hao Farmer Homestay in Yilan. The event attracted participation from both local students and more than one-third of students from various countries including Thailand, Paraguay, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam, fostering successful cross-national, cross-language, and cross-cohort exchanges.
Conducted entirely in English, the camp aimed to promote intercultural communication among students. It not only enhanced the English conversational skills of local students but also facilitated experience sharing and interaction among students of different grades and nationalities.The activities were diverse and engaging, including land games, water games, free interaction sessions, and team competitions, which not only strengthened the rapport among participants but also sparked their interest in cross-cultural communication.
The event concluded with an award ceremony, recognizing the outstanding teams that excelled in the competitions. This ICI Camping event successfully broke down national barriers and further united the students of ICI. After the event, students expressed that they had gained a lot from the three-day, two-night camp, making new friends from different cultural backgrounds while improving their language skills and team spirit through mutual exchange.
Innovation International College is delighted with the success of this camping event and looks forward to continuing its support in promoting cross-cultural exchanges and development among students both on and off-campus in the future.
