Lecture Topic: How 5G Revolutionized The World If Its Infrastructures Built Completely

For today’s class, Dr.Yang introduced with the definition and applications of 5G that revolutionized the world if the its infrastructures would be built completely. Everything can control only one mobile phone from automated driving cars to household management. However, the US is concerned about this issue. First of all, American 5G technology is lagged behind Chinese technology. Second, the privacy and security are also a point to inhibit Chinese infrastructure in American-allied countries. Third, China can provide 5G cheaper than other counterparts. All these reasons make the US unsatisfied and become the accusation to declare the trade between the US and China. For this time, China in the past was in the peripherical sphere of technology contributing to the core nation to create the technology. Dr.Yang also points it would have no problem if the US still advance at the edge of technology frontier. However, Chinese tech companies are more efficient; hence, they can produce cheaper and more advanced goods. This is not a good sign for Western countries because China will challenge the game ruler and then set the new rule.
