【2026 Urban Resilience (Air Defense) Exercises Announcement】
The “2026 Urban Resilience (Air Defense) Exercise” will be held in Taipei on Thursday, August 13, from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. During the exercise, air raid sirens will sound across the city, and a 30-minute traffic and pedestrian control and air defense evacuation drill will be implemented.
All NCCU faculty, staff, students, and visitors on campus are requested to follow the instructions of police officers, civil defense personnel, and University staff, and proceed to the nearest designated air-raid shelter to participate in the exercise.
For the first time, this year’s exercise will include a mobile network speed reduction drill to simulate disrupted communications during an emergency. Please prepare in advance and save screenshots of relevant evacuation and shelter information, so that you can respond promptly and minimize the impact of limited network access.
