Foundational courses for 1st and 2nd year students aim to build up rudimentary knowledges for respective research areas. Introduction to Global Study is the core course traversing ICI’s three track modules with focus on international issues and relevant topics such as politics, economy, sustainable environment, culture and global development process. While most courses are lecture-based, additional feature seminars, group discussions and situation simulations are supplemented to foster diversified viewpoints and instill value of teamwork during their learning process. Students are required to examine designated topics and provide analysis from different aspects. Driven by the expansion of global business and knowledge economy, International Innovation Management is designed to prepare students career-readiness with tech-infused curriculum that covers technology transfer, disruptive innovation and management, product development…etc.
Courses at third and fourth years are issue-oriented carried out by group projects and case study. The three-pronged curriculum structure cuts across major research disciplines spanning from international governance to management, culture studies, laws, and data sciences. At this study period, students are encouraged to take up internships at private and governmental institutes or engage in overseas exchange programs.
