This Fall, Dr. Manoj Kumar Panigrahi from the International College of Innovation is offering two exciting courses exploring India and the Indo-Pacific through history, politics, and international relations.

Course 1|Understanding India: Ancient Civilisation to Contemporary Era (1 Credit)

  • Course Number: ZU1842001
  • Every Monday | 17:10–19:00
  • October 19 – December 21 (Intensive Course)
     

Topics include:

  • India's rise from ancient civilisation to a global power
  • Politics, foreign policy, and international influence
  • Culture, society, and gender
  • Technology, innovation, and space development
  • Climate change and sustainability challenges
     

Eligibility & Enrollment
→ Open to Year 1–4 students, Limited to 30 students

 

*Students will also participate in discussions, and guest lectures, to better understand today's regional issues.*

 



Course 2|Regional Development in the Indo-Pacific (3 Credits)

  • Course Number: ZU1846001
  • Every Monday | 14:10–17:00
     

Topics include:

  • Indo-Pacific geopolitics and regional dynamics
  • Security, diplomacy, and major powers
  • Territorial disputes and regional challenges
  • Multilateral cooperation and strategic partnerships
  • Crisis simulations and policy decision-making
     

*Students will also participate in discussions, guest lectures, and simulation exercises to better understand today's regional issues. *
 

Eligibility & Enrollment
→ Open to Year 3–4 students, Limited to 10 students
