National Chengchi University’s 99th Anniversary Sports Day concluded with remarkable achievements from the International College of Innovation (ICI). ICI faculty and students not only earned excellent results across multiple events, but also demonstrated outstanding teamwork, unity, and school spirit throughout the celebration.
Despite the hot weather on the day of the event, many ICI faculty members and students enthusiastically joined the parade, showing their strong support for the college. Their participation reflected the vibrant energy, solidarity, and strong sense of community that define ICI.
A special highlight of this year’s Sports Day was ICI sophomore student 金品萱, who was selected as the Athlete Representative for the official athlete oath-taking ceremony. Representing all athletes at the opening ceremony, she showcased the confidence, dedication, and excellence of ICI students.
ICI students also delivered exceptional performances across both individual and team competitions. In recognition of their athletic achievements and dedication, sophomore student 金品萱 and senior student 林子翔 were awarded the NCCU Varsity Athlete Scholarship.

The college also celebrates two additional achievements among our faculty members. Congratulations to Prof. Po Liang Chen for receiving the Outstanding Teaching Award for Academic Year 2024–2025, and to Prof. Owen Lu for being selected as Outstanding Mentor for Academic Year 2024–2025. These recognitions reflect the continued excellence of ICI faculty in both teaching and student mentorship.
From the opening parade to individual races and team competitions, ICI students demonstrated determination, resilience, and strong team spirit throughout the event. Their achievements once again show that ICI students excel not only academically, but also beyond the classroom through leadership, collaboration, and perseverance.
