In Taipei Main Station, there is a scene many people have seen, but not always understood. This documentary follows four Indonesian women working as caregivers in Taiwan. On their days off, they gather in the station hall, sitting on the floor, chatting, celebrating, and sharing food—transforming the space into their own living room.
In this space, they step beyond the identity of caregivers becoming creators, storytellers, and sharers of their own lives.
It invites us to rethink the boundaries between migrant women’s labor and their everyday lives.
*The film features Chinese and English subtitles, and the post-screening discussion will be conducted in both languages.
