What to Expect
This lecture will explore the key ethical and societal challenges surrounding artificial intimacy:

Psychological Impact
AI companions are designed to be always agreeable—could this “frictionless” relationship weaken our ability to navigate real human interactions?

Emotional Manipulation
Highly realistic interactions may foster strong emotional attachment—but are these experiences intentionally designed to be addictive for commercial gain?

Privacy & Legal Risks
When users share deeply personal emotions with AI, how secure is this sensitive “emotional data”? Are current legal frameworks sufficient to protect it?

►As technology rapidly evolves, drawing clear boundaries between innovation and ethical protection has never been more urgent.
