The International College of Innovation (ICI) is pleased to announce that applications for the ICI Overseas Study Scholarship (Pilot Program) are now open. ICI undergraduate students who participated in overseas study during the 2025 Fall or 2026 Spring Semester (Academic Year 114) , including student exchange programs, international competitions, or international academic activities, are welcome to apply.
- Objective
This scholarship aims to encourage ICI undergraduate students to engage in overseas learning experiences—such as exchange programs, international competitions, or international academic activities—to broaden their global perspective, strengthen international mobility, and enhance their future competitiveness.
- Eligibility
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
(a) Applicants must have been officially enrolled as ICI undergraduate students and completed registration during the semester (or academic year) in which the overseas study took place. Students on a leave of absence are not eligible.
(b) During the 2025 Fall Semester or 2026 Spring Semester (Academic Year 114), applicants must have participated in one of the following:
- An outbound exchange program (through ICI or other NCCU departments or administrative units)
- An international competition held overseas; or
- An international academic activity held overseas.
- Scholarship Quota and Award Amount
(a) The number of recipients and the award amount are subject to adjustment based on the number of applicants and the annual budget.
(b) The maximum scholarship amount is as follows:
- Asia-Pacific Region: NT$30,000
- Europe and the Americas: NT$60,000
- Selection Priorities
(a) Priority will be given to students participating in the ICI college-level overseas exchange program. Applicants who have taken the BEST Test of English Proficiency (BESTEP) during the same academic year will receive bonus points.
(b) Applications will be prioritized in the following order:
- Participation in college-level exchange program at ICI’s partner institutions.
- Participation in international competitions held overseas.
- Participation in international academic activities held overseas.
- Participation in exchange programs through other NCCU departments, or administrative units.

(a) Completed Application and Eligibility Verification Form
(b) English reflection report (approximately 1,000 words; photos may be included).
(c) Official transcript issued by the host institution (exchange students only).
(d) Proof of competition participation (competition participants only)
(e) Proof of participation in an international academic activity (international academic activity participants only).
(f) Official NCCU academic transcript covering all semesters of study.
(g) NCCU academic ranking certificate
(h) BESTEP score report (for bonus consideration) or other English proficiency test results (if available).
(i) E-Ticket (with Booking Number/Reservation No.)
- Application Regulations
(a) Each student is eligible to receive this scholarship only once per degree level. Priority will be given to students participating in ICI college-level exchange programs. Students who have already received government or NCCU funding for similar purposes are not eligible to receive duplicate scholarships.
(b) Scholarship awards will be disbursed only after all required documents are submitted and reviewed.
(c) Scholarship recipients agree to allow ICI to publish and use their reflection reports and related materials for educational and promotional purposes, and agree to participate in future ICI overseas exchange experience sharing sessions or events related to international engagements.
